Blasting will occur on or after June 12, 2026 from 7am to 6pm at McGee's Pit 816 Brunswick Ave. Gardiner Maine
If you own a dog, you are required to license the dog. Licenses cover the calendar year, and the city begins licensing each October 15 for the coming year.
All dogs need to be licensed upon reaching the age of 6 months in the town where it resides. Or after the dog has been with the family for 10 days, if adopted.
If you moved to Gardiner from another municipality in Maine and your dog was licensed in that municipality, please bring the license in to City Hall so that we can update our records at no cost to you.
Registrations for the following year are usually available in mid-October.
Cost for New Licenses or Renewals:
Included in the online license cost is a $1 transaction fee and a $1.75 shipping/handling fee.
