Dog Licensing

The City of Gardiner will begin issuing the 2026 dog licenses on October 15th. 

Maine law requires all dogs to be licensed.

You will need to provide proof of current rabies vaccination.

Spayed/neutered dog fee- $6.00

Unaltered dog fee- $11.00

2025 dog licenses automatically expire on December 31, 2025. January is a courtesy month. Effective February 1, a late fee of $25 will be assessed per dog.
